ACTGOV research on fertility control of this species and Red-Necked Wallabies is underway at this site, @MichaelMulvaney. With the EGK species, research has advanced to trialling control of EGK popns in unfenced sites.

Trials involve dart-delivered Gonacon, hand-injected Gonacon and animals sham-vaccinated with inactive drug. The first two of these treatments result in long-term infertility in a high % of cases.
