Another bird that dropped out of a very high thermal. It looks like a wader... or a bird carrying a stick.. or a bird with a stick up its butt. At the time I thought it was another raptor so ignored it. This is the only photo. LOL it is another Nankeen Kestrel - this is its back end. Its holding a stick!

Wouldn't swear to it Liam. It was very high up. But when it turned that's what it looked like - but carrying that stick out behind.

Yeah I think so. It still looks like a wader with that stick as a beak! Amazing the difference the angle of the shot can make.
