lucky you! I've been out in long grass, near water, dry tracks, and I still haven't seen a snake. I must be snake blind. Or they hear me coming and dart off.

If you see under the bill, there is the throat hackles. That's the best indicator between a Little Crow and an Australian Raven. It did take a lot of double checking to make sure I'd identified it correctly because it is difficult to separate the two

Hi. This is a very young Grey Fantail. They are brown and white and turn to grey and white (with some cream on the belly) as they mature.
