Monitoring Site 144 - Revegetation

This is a monitoring site of Albury Conservation Company's Arboreal Mammal Monitoring Program.

This is a cross-border, long-term monitoring program that started in Albury in 2018 and expanded into Wodonga in 2020.

The primary tool used in the monitoring program are motion-sensing cameras, which are deployed twice a year.

The program is currently funded by Albury Conservation Company, Albury City Council, Ross Trust, Wettenhall Environment Trust and public donors. The program is supported by Wodonga Council.

THanks RogerF. When there are less ants I will return to the site and try again to get more hopper shots.

I have checked with You Ning at ANIC and it could be either an unusual colour form of M. securiformis (female) or an undescribed species of Macrotona. Best stay with the latter. It would be useful to have pictures of a male. Males of securiformis are short-winged.
