Thanks for this sighting. Little is known about Gang gang breeding ecology. A citizen science project on a sister platform (Canberra Nature Map) has produced much info and several publications. It would be good if Wodonga- Albury residents could also add to our knowledge and conservation of this species. I have customised the Gang gang sighting online recording so that you will be now asked whether the birds are associated with a hollow and which of three types of behaviour in relation to hollows was observed. We are still having some teething issues to work out but when I have done that you will be able to click on a box that says bird nesting site and the location won't be made publicly available, to reduce chances of poaching of young.
