Hey Nigel. I don't know this species. I was wondering how you tell this species from P. foliolosa.
They look similar to me, I wonder if I should reconsider some of my P. foliolosa records? VicFlora suggests the 2 species may hybridise in this region - to make things more difficult.

hi Claire , thx for your comment , you are so right !! ... i had just been seeing procumbens in the bush and was a bit too quick on the id click .. key difference is procumbens has larger leaves 7-12mm w prominent pungent tip , foliolosa leaf is noticeably smaller <4mm.. bracteole in procumbens is tri-lobed. nice pic Chris
