User's notes

I felt really lucky to hear these birds and then manage to get photos even though they were up very high and obscured my many branches/leaves.

Thanks Kyliegw. There is a citizen Science project comparing Gang Gang breeding success in urban areas with rural areas particularly those forests that were recently burnt. It would be great if Wodonga and Albury could be part of the research. What is needed are reported sightings of gang gangs near a tree hollow, peering into a tree hollow or entering a hollow. If you could keep ears and eyes open that would be fantastic.

no problems MichaelM. This lot there were two males and two females which looked like adult birds. The extra bird was too flighty and inbehind the tree trunk for me to see what it was. I might go back this week and see if I can get them again and pay more attention to what they are doing.

Thanks - If what they do in Canberra is any thing to go by they should be beginning to nest now and pairs like to nest near each other
