User's notes

Attention needs to be paid to the cute little tuft of fur that’s just been cleaned and the fact it’s little tongue is sticking out in the second photo.

I don't know anything about squirrel gliders. do the babies sit in the pouch or do they cling on the back like a koala?

Hiya Kylie! Squirrel gliders do have a pouch but babies only stay in mums pouch for just over 60 days.
Squirrels nest in tree hollows so after the babies are larger and weaned off mums milk. they remain in the nesting hollow being fed before going out and exploring and foraging with mum at around 120 days old.
