It was a once off event that year I think. That year they were also at baranduda and some other spots. But I haven't seen them since no matter how hard I try! They did breed there.

TYVM. I tried to make it a goodie. I pulled this set of heart stopping moments from winter 2019. I am really terrible at spotting robins. But this encounter was rather easy to whistle them out of the trees and get them to come in close to look at me. The female was harder - always in the thickets. But the male came in so close I couldn't get focus. Another bird I would have sworn we never get! Wrong again!
