Thought this was a Tau Emerald... not so sure. Doesn't have alot of green on it and there is black on/behind the head that I haven't seen before.

been online and apparently the black at the back of the head means its a female.

Hi Kyliegw, you are correct it is a Tau Emerald. The yellow pterostigma/yellow panels on the wings are a good ID for Tau Emeralds, while some Australian Emeralds will have black pterostimga/black panels (and usually have green eyes).
