Terrible photo. There were these butterflies flapping around three very large mistletoes on a gum tree way, way up high. It was really hard to get any photo. They were black with red and yellow/orange on them. Not seen them before.
Think this is an Imperial Jezebel (though seems to be the underside). Interesting as I have not found one this season anywhere (uncommon on Nalican but usually get some around Beechworth) Other options are Spotted Jezebel or perhaps Mistletoe Moth
