User's notes

Birds flew round me in groups of 3 and 4 and then all flew low and into a tree in Forest Hill - I think its a Liquid Amber. At a distance it looks like the tree is full of bats!

Thanks Kylie - hope to shortly include the Albury Wodonga area within a wider Gang Gang research study so all sightings are of interest. It is a liquidambar and I have observed Gang gangs eating both the seeds and the sap of Liquidamber.

Thanks Michael. If they hadn't flown through so low through the forest I was in I could have got closer photos. This tree was at least 500 metres away. I think the ambulance sirens disturbed them (collecting for Good Friday Appeal).
