The only thing I've got to go on is the size of the pack. Every time I report 10-20 or so Australian Ravens everyone tells me that it can't be right and they must be LIttle Ravens as the others don't come in packs. So this time I got a photo of a pack going over the top of me. The calls sounded right for Little Ravens (no arrrrrrrrrrrrr's) and I couldn't see any hackles as they called. But if you'd rather call them Australian Ravens then this is fine. I can't notice a size difference between these species. In the air they all look the same size to me.
I'm happy to say they are Little Ravens and trust your identification skills. It's a bit like splitting hairs with the Ravens, I struggle with them in flight. I didn't know that about the Australian Ravens not being in large flocks.
