Thanks ghardham, great photo, that helps us get a picture on Gang Gang diet. Would appreciate any other sightings so that we can get a handle on how long "this time of year" may be.

The Red Rumped Parrots eat these seed heads too in parks in Winter. Though they usually eat them on the ground, not on the tree.
