wow. i didn't know Grevillea robusta was a non-local native! It does so well around here and is all over the place in schools, parks, gardens, farms, etc I never really thought about it before.
I don't think it was planted, seems like a wild seeded one.
Yeah, there are a lot of silky oaks around albury-wodonga, they were a popular garden plant or street tree for a long time, and they will spread around if allowed to. A lot of native birds enjoy them when they're in bloom
