User's notes

At first I thought this flower was the shrub, but when I found some on the ground I thought not. I struggled to find the stem/plant they belonged to. They look like bluebells but have veined petals. I wasn't sure if some kid had been along and picked them off and planted them here or there. Storm imminent so had to run off!

Native flax. The whole flower drops off this otherwise insignificant plant. Has had season, heaps of it around.

Thanks Claire. Mystery solved! I have seen it but only in bud - not out!
