User's notes

I have never seen so many hoverflies before. They were coming up out of the grass along the trackway rising to knee height, and then just going back down again. Shady areas mostly but lots and lots of them. Never noticed them in grass before. Got one photo - it was hard. When landed I couldn't see them any more.
