I dunno? It turned up inside a building, haven't heard of antechinus doing that, but always possible?

One sneaks inside in Summer at my parents home and partakes the tomatoes ripening on the windowsill (leaving tiny teeth punctures) and then sneaks out by daybreak! They have seen it twice. But will leave it for a mammal person to ID.

Antechinus very much make themselves at home in people's houses, but this is definitely a house mouse based on the lighter coloured fur around the eye ring.
