I'm going to say "pied currawong" but with a question mark. This bird flew quietly into the lower branches of a very huge gum tree and proceeded to catch and eat something in amongst the leaves (spiders?). It was very quiet. But it seems to be missing the white on its wings, or is it just folded up? And the pattern under the tail I've never seen before.
ok. there does seem to be similar examples online with that tail and no wing colour and saying its a pied currawong. https://media.ebird.org/catalog?taxonCode=piecur1&mediaType=photo Weird!
