Yeah Don. Only got one photo though. But there were three together here and two a little further down. All the same looking. Can't always get pics.

Sadly, of the 10,000 or so named moth species in Australia, the undersides of only about 1000 species have been published, whereas nearly all have had photos of the upper surfaces published. I regret I could not find a match to you photo amongst that 1,000. I expect it is one of the other 9,000.

That's fine donhe. It was so small when I moved round to get its 'other side' it took off into thicker grass. I get more moths than I do butterflies. At least its on record, and maybe one other visit I'll get all sides. Thanks for looking. KYlie :)
