User's notes

this one flipped onto the ant nest. Was there some seconds and then flipped off. ant nests everywhere. ants everywhere. Made for a quicker walk.

I have checked with You Ning at ANIC and it could be either an unusual colour form of M. securiformis (female) or an undescribed species of Macrotona. Best stay with the latter. It would be useful to have pictures of a male. Males of securiformis are short-winged.

THanks RogerF. When there are less ants I will return to the site and try again to get more hopper shots.
