Looked like I'd just poured milk or cream on the stump! Its a wattle tree - possible silver wattle which have been chainsawed with only the stumps remaining. THey have been very dead for some time. But this fungi was on both stumps right at the base. Each 'round' was about 8cm across. Really stood out on dark day.
