User's notes

Yikes. Run away! Oh wait, the poor little beetle larvae can't run away. This parasitic wasp landed whilst I was there, and I could be wrong, but looked like it checked out each larvae and then grabbed one by the head and injected its butt into it. Laid an egg inside it? Not sure. Never seen anything like this before. I thought the beetle larvae were icky to taste and touch.

Hi Kylie. Your suggestion of a female laying an egg is correct.
