It appears to be growing near Pinus trees and even though the cap is dry and not slippery there appears to be a ring on the stipe which along with other characters may make it Suillus luteus.
KenT points out a very informative feature - the ring on the stem. While a number of genera of gilled mushrooms have rings, that feature is very rare in boletes. You could expect a dry cap if there's been some dry weather. On the assumption of pine trees nearby, I'd agree with KenT's Suillus luteus.
