It's a weevil, a type of beetle. There are lots of different species of weevils, so I'm not sure which one this is. Bit tricky to tell from the photo. But that long snout and strong legs is a giveaway. When this one was a larva, it probably lived inside the trunk of a wattle or eucalyptus tree.
