I got this cool mosquito looking insect - it had green eyes and green on its body with iridescent wings. Its flying behaviour caught my attention rather than its colouring which was hard to see.

Fantastic effort Kylie - This record of a long legged fly is, like many of your records, one of the few records of this species in the Wodonga-Albury area - you are literally putting species on the map. Long-legged flies are predators on small soft bodied insects like aphids - so this is a good fly to have.
