I tried a little while ago to suggest a species that is not on the list but it doesn't seem to have got into the system. My suggestion is Juncus falcatus. It is a bit of a long shot but it is the only Juncus or Cyperus species I can find with similar seed head morphology. And there are reported sightings in our area in the AVH database. I'd appreciate it if you could have a look and see what you think and let me know if I can gather other evidence. I also suspect that sighting 4420181 is the same species as this sighting, whatever it is. Thanks.
