If it was up in the strike position like that, no. But I've seen one before flattening its neck to look threatening while moving away from me (sighting 3391505). In that case it was quite cold so it was moving very slowly. In this case I think it was also feeling pretty cold and had come out onto the slashed track to try to get some sun. But it didn't move, apart from raising its head a few cm off the ground and looking around while I took the photos - the distance shot first and then moving around in front of it (at a safe distance) for the close up (via zoom lens). Not at all threatening.
