Phyllotocus kingii (Nectar scarab)

Found on flowers in the lowlands of the ACT, e.g. Canberra. Has the elytra entirely reddish yellow and covered in setae (hairs), those at the base (next to the pronotum) and along the suture being long and black, those elsewhere on the elytra being short and yellowish brown. Can be confused with (a) Phyllotocus erythropterus, which has all setae on the elytra long and black and the extreme tips of the elytra black, and (b) P. rufipennis, whose elytral setae are limited to a few near the base and along the suture.
